Here’s hoping that you are having a great Thanksgiving Weekend (for those celebrating); or just a great weekend in general! Today we are going to talk a bit about using video on your TrafficLeads2Income Sales Page. Notice when you click the link the video that appears. Marketing legend Janet Legere was kind enough to make this video for TrafficLeads2Income, it is a great example of how to personalize your feelings about a program. No verbiage on a Sales Page can convey what a personal video can……video is indeed worth more than a thousand words.

Members have asked if they could put their own custom video on their TrafficLeads2Income Sales Page. Well, now you can! Simply login to your TrafficLeads2Income backoffice and click on profile. Now, record your video using your webcam, and save on your computer. Next, use Youtube or GVO to upload your video. Here is an example of both services:

Ok, so back to TrafficLeads2Income profile, and simply add the embed code of your video (found at both YouTube and GVO) in the box labeled index video. You will need to delete the code that is currently in there, and paste in your code. If you do nothing, the default video will show (courtesy of Janet Legere). If you delete the code and save with no code in the box, there will be no video on your Sales Page. Here is my finished product:

So, now you can customize your Sales Page just as you do the lead capture pages you create with TrafficLeads2Income! I still recommend using lead capture pages to build your list first, especially in Traffic Exchanges. When we debut the Safelist Training (Step 9), we’ll talk more about the use of your Sales Page. I joined the program upgraded and set it up…. Now every time I go into the back office there are new programs….
10? or more safelists today… How can I recommend a program I have no control over
A Zillion safelists is taking the …..
A Zillion traffic exchanges…
Do I now have to spend 24 hours a day  monitoring the back office and making sure people I sign up see what I want them to see.
Or do 400 people up the line add want they want…..

Interesting feedback. First off, I caution you to limit the number of programs you add to your downline
builder. There are 47 Programs at admin level. I would say you should keep yours at 50 or lower as well. A good mix would be say 25 Traffic Exchanges, 12 Safelists, 1 or 2 Income Streams, and maybe 5 – 7 other resources. Any more, and your downline will feel like the writer above. Sometimes they let us know and we can correct it. Sometimes they walk away and never say a word.
Here are reasons to keep your downline builder “tight”:

A. You won’t overwhelm your downline
B.  You won’t overwhelm our server
C.  You’ll pare down your recommendations to what is actually working for you
D.  Make sure you are communicating to your team when you add things to your downline builder.
This is part of relationship building; no one likes surprises, especially your new members.
Based on the letter above, here are some things you can keep in mind as you approach your downline builder as a new member:

A. Upgrade so you can block programs that you aren’t interested in joining.
B. Only programs from admin or your direct sponsor will show in your downline builder. Please know that I am careful about what I add at Admin level.
C. Let your sponsor know to communicate with you when they add something. Work towards building a relationship with your sponsor just as you work to build a relationship with your team.

The good news is I did reply to the email writer, and explained that I would make a training post about their feedback. As always, we learn from good feedback, especially from our new upgraded members. Our writer is very pleased with our coaching and support; a happy ending!

Nope, this one goes out to the Newbies!

We’ve all been there, brand new online and looking for help and support. So with that being said, I wanted to clarify an important feature of TrafficLeads2Income. When you are going thru your 11 Steps, you hit Step 4 which is AutoResponder. There is a feature within TrafficLeads2Income Step 4 that accounts for new people without an AutoResponder. Easily enough, it is the No Responder Option. When you choose this option, you are presented with video instructions on what do do. You can watch that video here now. I know, its not Michael Stipe, but will have to do:

One thing that that we enhanced that is not in the video is the email we added to Affiliate Toolbox. This is a great sample email to add to your profile that your leads will receive. The goal with TrafficLeads2Income is to turn these leads into signups by:

1) A thankyou page comes up after your lead fills out the form on your Lead Capture Page that is your TL2I Signup form.

2) If they don’t join the program, the email in profile hopefully will encourage that.

3) You can continue, now that you have their email address, to encourage them to join under you. When they do, you can delete them from the lead section in your referral area.

Once you decide on an AutoResponder, you can import them so that they continue to be a part of your list. That’s the evolution from newbie to intermediate marketer and there truly is no hurry – – – your success is now in sight.

You’ll find this weeks update a bit different. I’m rewriting it from scratch. Yes, I admit it, I would copy the previous weeks edition into the new weeks; and then edit it from there. Keeping some bits, adding some new ones, deleting a few too. But I have found myself at a crossroads recently; and I think it is time for a bit of reinvention.

So, lets start with some changes we have made. If you have not been to TL2I for awhile, you really should go back through all 11 Steps. I believe I have made some type of change to every Step. This week, I made verbiage changes to Steps 7,8, and 10. Step 9 is still in the works. Its is the much anticipated Safelist Training. It will also include some additional info on tracking, so I want to make sure it is the best that I can do. I hope to have it ready by next week…..I’ll keep you posted.

Sure, I could go through all the nitty gritty on those verbiage changes that I made this week. but I’d rather save my detail for the most important focus of all……….YOU!

Without you there is no TrafficLeads2Income. Its time to recognize this fact and give back, in a big way!
