Hi Again!
Below is an actual letter from an actual member of TrafficLeads2Income:
Hello Rob
I joined the program upgraded and set it up…. Now every time I go into the back office there are new programs….
10? or more safelists today… How can I recommend a program I have no control over
A Zillion safelists is taking the …..
A Zillion traffic exchanges…
Do I now have to spend 24 hours a day monitoring the back office and making sure people I sign up see what I want them to see.
Or do 400 people up the line add want they want…..
Not happy about this at all! The reply email dictates whether I cancel or not in a nutshell

Interesting feedback. First off, I caution you to limit the number of programs you add to your downline
builder. There are 47 Programs at admin level. I would say you should keep yours at 50 or lower as well. A good mix would be say 25 Traffic Exchanges, 12 Safelists, 1 or 2 Income Streams, and maybe 5 – 7 other resources. Any more, and your downline will feel like the writer above. Sometimes they let us know and we can correct it. Sometimes they walk away and never say a word.
Here are reasons to keep your downline builder “tight”:
A. You won’t overwhelm your downline
B. You won’t overwhelm our server
C. You’ll pare down your recommendations to what is actually working for you
D. Make sure you are communicating to your team when you add things to your downline builder.
This is part of relationship building; no one likes surprises, especially your new members.
Based on the letter above, here are some things you can keep in mind as you approach your downline builder as a new member:
A. Upgrade so you can block programs that you aren’t interested in joining.
B. Only programs from admin or your direct sponsor will show in your downline builder. Please know that I am careful about what I add at Admin level.
C. Let your sponsor know to communicate with you when they add something. Work towards building a relationship with your sponsor just as you work to build a relationship with your team.
The good news is I did reply to the email writer, and explained that I would make a training post about their feedback. As always, we learn from good feedback, especially from our new upgraded members. Our writer is very pleased with our coaching and support; a happy ending!
Join us Sunday Night at 9:30pm est as we talk about the downline builder and the importance that is holds in your system setup and business. Here is the room link:

Great blog post Rob. The downline builder is very important, but we need to understand how to use it, as you explain. I find it extremely valuable as an upgraded member to be able to pick and choose the programs which I am familiar with, have had success with and will encourage my downline to join. Of course nobody wants to try to signup for everything that is in the back office–that would be a fruitless task.
Good to have a meeting on this important tool. Please record it.

Interesting post. Some people get overwhelm by the dowline builder others just explode it with tons of programs. One thing i like about TL2I is the support and personal coaching, is excellent. Keep up the good work Rob. See you tomorrow at the conference.

Rob,
The ability that we can control our downline builder makes TL2I unique from anything else I’ve seen on the net. This is a great topic because I want to take advantage of this feature.
This allows me to a great degree to be able to build my own funded sponsoring system with the programs I want to promote and I can remove the ones that I don’t want to promote.
One frustration that I’ve had as a part time marketer is that you need to be careful that you don’t spend all of you time setting up systems. When that happens you don’t get any productive work done. 😉
I look forward to your thoughts on this topic.
Jim
Rob,
I totally agree with that email…
Sometimes I get introduced to downline builders and see 100s of programs to join. They turn me off from just once glance.
Rob, I know you recommended up to 50 programs in the blog post, however, I find even 50 is too many.
10 Traffic exchanges, 5 list builders and 2 income opportunities are more than enough. Not to forget, if referrer upgrade in any of the hit exchanges or in list builders, they will become income opportunities as well.
Cheers
Dassana
Yes thank you rob for another great post. And I to do find that sometimes in other downline builders there are too many that I do not wnt to join all of them, so I do appreaciate being able to block those that I do not join. And I will be checking my listings.
Sincerely,
Vince

Rob, you stated some good points and I am so happy that you were able to calm down the member who wrote you. It was a great eye-opener for me and I never thought about the impact of putting all my Safe-list and Traffic Exchanges would cause. I have really cut down to 14 TE’s and Safe-List.
One thing that I absolutely love about TrafficLeads2Income is that first off you really have a passion for TL2I and you really care about all of us being successful. I believe that some programs just miss the mark.
TrafficLeads2Income Rocks!!!!
Great information Rob! I am not participating in everything my sponsor has so I check the little radio box and block those I do not use. Please record training so I can listen to it tomorrow.
Thanks for a good blog, Rob.
I can understand why some members can feel overwhelmed … however they can block the programs they don’t want to participate in. (If they have upgraded).
Some new members do not have a clue about TE’s or what is out there, and in this case it is useful to have a list, elaborate, or not for people to choose from to join.
Also, they can insert their affiliate links in the TE’s listed and get credit for these when others sign up under them.
Look forward to your meeting tonight.
