Hi Again!

If you recall from last weeks blog…………

AffiliateToolBox has been added to the TrafficLeads2Income Downline Builder. Go there now and join, but first make sure your sponsor has done so first. When you click on Join at ATB, note at the bottom of the signup page the name of your referrer. This will give you the verification you'll need. While in the DLB, join the other new Traffic Exchanges just added, HitsViral and TrafficJamPro. Dwight from TJP just taught me alot about cookies. Not the kind you eat, but the ones that affect who you join a program under. I'm going to talk about that a bit at the conference tomorrow night; and blog about it next week.

So as promised, more about cookies, downline integrity, and due dilligence. So what is a cookie? Is it something you find at CookieJarHits? Actually Yes! CookieJarHits of course part of the TrafficLeads2Income Downline Builder (unless blocked by your sponsor – more on that later). What a cookie is in the terms of this article is a marker placed on ones computer when they click to join a particular site. If the cookie is set as first, that person is set as the sponsor no matter when they go back to actually complete a registration. If it is set to last, the last person (most recent) they have clicked on to join becomes the sponsor (overwriting the initial cookie).

So why would the owner of a site want first cookie set versus last, you may ask. Well, one of the reasons is that when a program has just launched, many people use special offers as bait so you will join under them versus someone else. In order to view the offer, they need to click to join. The first cookie prevents people from cycling thru various offers to pick which one is the best one. You are locked in with the first offer you view. Is this fair? I will leave this as a rhetorical question for now. Also, in Internet Marketing terms, the justification also becomes "I told you about it first!" Of course this is virtual telling, and if you don't join then something was missing, the "sale" was not closed.

The thought process on last cookie is that folks who go beyond internet marketing techniques; meaning personal followup, may be able to persude someone to join something they were considering (perhaps from an unknown source) by explaining the features and benefits while being able to offer support as well. The definition of this person is a Networking Internet Marketer. The first cookie penalizes them, the last cookie rewards them.

So then, this brings us to what you can do as the referral. Ultimately, its your choice who you join something under. Always ask yourself this question. Are they going to disappear like dust in the wind when I need help, or be there when I need help. If the latter is not important to you, so be it. There are many people that really require and expect that of their sponsor. Before you go to the downline builder of TrafficLeads2Income, check on who your sponsor is. You can do so by Reviewing Step 2 in the 11 Steps of Success. Now, when you click on a program you want to join in the downline builder, check to see if their name is on the site or on the signup page. Most programs give you that information, so it is up to you to know who you are joining under before you submit your signup form. If it doesn't match what you expect, you can try clearing your cookies (remember the discussion above). If that doesn't work, maybe they are not a member of that program. Contact them and at least give them the courtesy of 24 hours to give you an answer. They will respect you so much for that, as you would if someone did this for you.

Another question that comes up about our downline builder is what to do if my sponsor blocks a program? Well, same rule as above, contact them and give them 24 hours to tell you why and what alternative they have for you. Ultimately, you have the perogative to go to the main domain of that program and join. No one, ultimately can stop you from doing anything, but if you know you are operating in a fair manner and communicating with your sponsor, you have nothing to stress about. As leaders in a community, you also need to be sensitive to who ones sponsor is, and always refer them back to this individual.

RobsNetworkers and TrafficLeads2Income are proud to announce a new tracking resource for our members. AffiliateToolBox is going to take tracking to a higher level for the members. ATB is owned by John Bell, who also owns TrafficSwirl. John also assists us in programming efforts, so he is integrating AffiliateToolBox in the TrafficLeads2Income Back Office. What this means for the members is a resource that will be easier to use with an owner who is plugged into the RobsNetworkers Community. You will have all the support you need in understanding and maximizing this resource.

So where are we at now?

Next, go to Step 11 and notice that all of your Lead Capture Pages have been converted to the new tracking format. Here is an example:

If you are currently tracking pages elsewhere, that will continue to work fine. You can place your AFT tracking link in another tracker if you choose. The new Tracking System is 100% operational. In the Profile Area, simply add your AFT Username in the designated box. Once this takes place, all of your TrafficLeads2Income LCP (Lead Capture Page) Stats then show in your ATB BackOffice. If you choose not to join ATB (which is FREE to Join) your pages will still be tracked, with the stats displaying in my ATB Admin Account. The Conversion Code box for TEToolBox will still be in Profile till 10/1; but once its removed we're going to be giving you the ability to edit your TL2I Thankyou pages, so this won't be an issue and you'll be able to customize your Thankyous to your hearts desire.

Again, we our proud to be working with John Bell and Affiliate ToolBox, everything is operational! We have edited our instructional steps (7, 9, and 11); and the AutoResponder Letters in Affiliate Tools. We hope to have a new video in Step 7 soon, just waiting for a good buddy to finish it up. Changes in Tracking You Need to Be Aware Of

Following Up With Your Team – Easier than you Think

Sometimes, we make a mountain out of the molehill called followup. If you are using TrafficLeads2Income correctly, then you are sending all your traffic to your list building lead capture page, presenting the tip of the funnel after they opt in as TrafficLeads2Income, hopefully bringing them into your TrafficLeads2Income Downline where they discover all the goodies you have in your Downline Builder, which is the big part of the funnel. So its an Upside Down Funneling System! Make sure you are using your tracking link (with your lead capture page(s) embedded inside) for complete optimization of the system. Good, you’re on the right track!!!

So, your autoresponder and the program (TL2I) are getting some good ad copy out to your new optins/members; so email is happening and that base is covered. What you need to focus on now is personal followup. Here are some questions to ask….

1) Is there any info in their profile that I can use for personal followup? (See Referral Area)

2) Have I tried looking their name up on facebook or skype? With Skype you have the Search Feature which allows you to search the Skype Database by Name or Email Address. So if you have just generated a new lead or just had your lead opt into your TL2I Downline, let’s just immediately see if we can use Skype to connect with them. Here is a video on how to add email contacts in Skype.

 

3) Have I used the downline mailer as a hook to bring them to the surface? To do this, when you send a mail choose the option with no credits and check mark the downline box. This will only send to your personal referrals.

Point #3 is what I am going to focus on today, using the downline mailer to make a personal connection with your team member. Here is a short email I used successfully this week, in order for this all to make sense read from the bottom to the top:

So the email at the bottom is the one that was generated from the downline mailer, the one at the top was a personal reply from me once I received the reply. Keep your downline mail short and to the point, request a reply to see who’s out there paying attention. Once you know they are out there, laser focus your mentoring of them. You’ll be delighted by the results!  Feel free to use the emails above, but I would recommend  that you customize them to your style.

Another topic I want to talk about today is outside the TL2I System and helps you generate leads outside of TrafficExchanges and Safelists. There is no need to surf for credits or click on email links with this strategy. In fact, at some point in your career, you are going to want to upgrade in your favorite Traffic Exchanges and Safelists and/or purchase advertising packages. One of the most valuable assets in your business is YOU! When you are free to followup with prospects or to go out and find new ones, you will see an improvement in your results. Here is a prospecting strategy you will hopefully find very productive. I will keep it brief for now, but plan on expanding it in the future. Here we go!!!

4) We begin our journey in Facebook. (Feel Free to Friend me now,  rob.gehring, I will accept.) Once you have joined Lifestyle Society from your Trafficleads2incomeVM Downline Builder (Income Opportunities) you will be able to plug into audience building training that will help you create more Facebook leads than you’ll know what to do with.

5) You must use Skype, MUST. Go to Skype.com if you aren’t using it. If you are not willing to do this, stop reading and go watch a re-run of Matlock!

Ok, you’re still here, yeah, it was a good show, but making money online is much more fun than watching TV. So, you need Skype Friends? Well start with me, use the Add a Contact (Remember the Video I have above) and add  rob.gehring. I would love to chat with you. Build your Skype as large as you can. For soon you will be going out and connecting with them. What we recommend is called relationship based marketing. Let me show you a recent sample conversation I had with a contact:

What it means to mentor/be mentored…

Hi Again!

First off, I would like to show you a new version of our RobsNetworkers Support Page. Thank to Steve Vicory for the concept, this page is a special Blog Version:

This gives our Blog Readers a new view and access to RobsNetworkers. We also changed the layout of the original RobsNetworkers Page. You can see it here. Comments Appreciated!!!

So, what's with the title of this blog. Well, due to the nature of the support we offer, people can be confused about some of the "protocol" and definitions. Two definitions that are important to know are:

Mentor: A mentor is someone who helps and support. They sometimes are also someone who may, at times, tell you things you may not want to hear. They may challenge you a bit. Politely and Professionally of course. Its not an easy job being a mentor. You have to be patient, listen well, and be positive and encouraging. Sometimes, you have to deal with challenging and confrontational situations. You may even have to make some hard choices that are not popular with everyone. This is the evolution of a mentor budding into a leader/room moderator/conference host. If you are interested in leadership development, we are the place for you!

Mentoring Receipient: It is important to understand, when you are new, that you need to first follow those who are successful. In order to become a leader, you must be a follower of sorts first. Those who know it all become termed as "Unwilling". If you are Unwilling to be mentored, you have no business being in a mentoring group. Coaching and Mentoring are used to keep people focused and on task. On the internet especially, there are soooooo many distractions out there. Being able to be open to constructive feedback is also a critical attribute. Again, as we said in the mentor section, our best teachers and coaches out there are the ones, at the time, that made us perhaps mad and told us what we didn't want to hear. Many times, we come to our mentor seeking validation and are angered at getting told perhaps that it may not be in our best interest. Again, if defensiveness and a know it all attitude are where you are coming from, you are probably best to continue struggling on your own. Unfortunately in life and in business, not everyone makes it. Don't let your own ego and drama get in the way of your success…..its hard enough some days as it is.
